The short version
By using Nudle you agree to these Terms. We provide an AI search agent that watches and ships fixes for you. You pay through Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record. You own your data and the content you publish. We own Nudle. Either of us can walk away. If you have questions, email hello@nudle.dev.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using nudle.dev and the Nudle AI search visibility platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Nudle ("we", "us", "our").
2. What Nudle does
Nudle is an AI search agent. It watches how AI answer engines describe and cite your brand, proposes data-driven copy and structural fixes for your site, and on your approval deploys those fixes through your existing Google Tag Manager and Cloudflare. We measure the impact of each deploy by comparing citation, traffic, and conversion metrics before and after.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
4. Your account
By creating an account you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Keep your information up to date
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use
- Take responsibility for everything that happens under your account
5. Plans, payments, and billing
Merchant of Record. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who acts as the Merchant of Record for the Service. Paddle handles billing, taxes (VAT, sales tax), and refunds in compliance with local laws. Your contract for payment is with Paddle, who in turn pays Nudle. Paddle's terms are at paddle.com/legal.
Plans. The Service is offered in two primary visibility plans: Visibility Starter ($1/month) and Visibility Plus ($19/month). An Agency plan may be available for users managing multiple client sites. Plan limits and prices are published at nudle.dev and may be changed with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
Refunds. Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy, Paddle's policy, and applicable consumer protection law. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, Paddle will retry per its dunning schedule. If payment is not received within 14 days, your subscription may be paused or downgraded.
6. Connected services
To run the Service we ask you to connect Nudle to a small number of platforms you already use. By connecting them you authorise Nudle to act on your behalf within the scope of the permissions you grant.
- Google Tag Manager. Read your container, and create, edit, and publish the tags, triggers, and variables required to deploy fixes you approve.
- Google Search Console. Read aggregated performance data for the sites you connect.
- Google Analytics 4. Read aggregated reporting data and, when you ask us to, provision custom dimensions, audiences, and key events.
- Cloudflare. Read the zone matching your domain, allow Nudle's crawler through your firewall, and, when you ask us to, deploy a per-domain endpoint that serves your llms.txt file.
You may revoke any of these authorisations at any time. On disconnect, we remove the artefacts we created on a best-effort basis. You remain responsible for the live state of your own properties.
7. Your content and our deploys
Copy variants, schema markup, ARIA suggestions, llms.txt content, and consent banners proposed by the Service are AI-generated suggestions. Before any change is deployed to your live site you must explicitly approve and click Deploy.
By approving a deploy, you represent that you have the right to publish the content and that it does not infringe any third party's rights or violate applicable law. You bear sole responsibility for the live content of your website. Nudle is not liable for content you choose to publish.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use the Service to scrape or harvest data in violation of applicable law or third-party terms
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent
- Use automated means to access the Service except via APIs and SDKs we publish
- Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, or that promotes hate, violence, or self-harm
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, infrastructure, documentation, branding, and the Nudle Lift Score methodology, is owned by Nudle and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you provide and any content you publish using the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your data solely to provide the Service.
10. Privacy and data protection
Your use of the Service is also governed by our privacy policy, which is incorporated by reference. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service, including consent banner deployments and tag firing, complies with POPIA, GDPR, and other applicable data-protection laws.
11. Service availability
We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where feasible. We are not liable for downtime, latency, or third-party API outages outside our control, including your connected platforms and infrastructure providers.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nudle is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, ranking, citation rate, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the fees you paid Nudle (via Paddle) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy of citation measurements, the effectiveness of any deployed change, the magnitude or direction of any lift score, or your rankings on Google or any AI engine. AI search platforms change rapidly; results vary.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nudle and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) content you approve and publish via the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any third party's rights.
15. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may close your account from the Settings tab or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or non-payment.
On termination: your right to use the Service ceases immediately; we will, on a best-effort basis, remove artefacts we created on your connected services; you may export your data within 30 days, after which it may be deleted. Sections 7, 9, 12, 13, 14, and 17 survive termination.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are communicated by email or through the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are first addressed in good faith between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes are submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cape Town, South Africa, except where consumer-protection laws of your country grant you a non-waivable right to bring proceedings in your home courts.
